Lumuzo AgriFarm is a pioneering livestock agribusiness dedicated to transforming Tanzania’s meat industry through innovation, sustainability, and excellence. Founded in response to the growing demand for high-quality, traceable, and tender meat, Lumuzo addresses longstanding industry challenges — from substandard breeding and outdated feedlot practices to poor traceability and inconsistent product quality.
As Tanzania’s first state-of-the-art goat breeding and feedlot center, Lumuzo AgriFarm is more than a farm — it is a fully integrated value chain. We combine advanced genetics, ethical animal care, and modern processing systems to deliver premium meat products that meet the rigorous standards of both domestic high-end markets and international buyers, particularly in the Gulf region.
Location
Lumuzo AgriFarm is strategically located in Dakawa village, Mvomero district, within Tanzania’s agriculturally rich Morogoro region. The 130-acre farm benefits from access to key logistics routes, a supportive agricultural ecosystem, and a local workforce from a ward population of over 34,000 (2022 census). Currently, the farm features eight goat sheds with a combined capacity of 12,000 animals, built to modern animal welfare and scalability standards. The infrastructure supports future expansion with provisions for cold chain facilities, meat processing, storage units, and offices. The site also includes open grazing areas, paddocks, water access points, and internal roads — all designed for a vertically integrated operation from breeding and fattening to slaughter, packaging, and retail.
