What We Offer

Lumuzo AgriFarm’s core service is the production and supply of premium, tender, and hygienically processed goat meat. Our carefully bred Boer-local hybrids offer high carcass yield, superior texture, and rich flavor, meeting the expectations of top-tier hotels, restaurants, and export clients. All meat is processed on-site under strict hygiene controls, supported by a cold chain system to ensure freshness and safety from slaughter to point of sale. Our meat is halal- compliant, traceable, and available in a range of cuts—both fresh and frozen—designed to suit various consumer and institutional needs.

As part of our circular economy approach, Lumuzo converts livestock waste into high-quality organic fertilizer. Solid and liquid waste from goat sheds is composted using aerobic methods and turned into nutrient-rich organic compost. This fertilizer supports Lumuzo’s own fodder and tree planting operations and is sold to horticultural farms, cooperatives, and agro-dealers as a sustainable alternative to chemical fertilizers. Liquid waste is treated to comply with NEMC standards, preventing groundwater contamination. This initiative creates additional revenue, supports ESG goals, and enhances the farm’s environmental impact.

Lumuzo also supplies certified live goats, aged between 6 and 12 months, to both household and commercial buyers. These animals are raised under strict welfare and traceability protocols and are sold by weight with complete health and vaccination records. Marketed under the “Lumuzo Certified” brand, these goats are popular during festivals such as Eid, and are also purchased by restaurants, small butchers, and local traders who prefer live animal slaughter. This service provides a reliable, hygienic alternative to informal livestock markets.

We offer high-quality breeding stock developed through a structured hybrid breeding program. These goats—especially males with exceptional weight gain, fertility, and disease resistance—are used as foundation breeders for new farms, genetic upgrades for smallholders and cooperatives, and by institutional programs such as veterinary schools. All animals are backed by detailed performance data, ancestry records, and expert consultations. This service supports regional genetic improvement and positions Lumuzo as a key player in livestock innovation.

Goat Breeds Included in Our Program

Boer Goats (Purebred – Imported from South Africa)

These are genuine, purebred Boer goats imported directly from South Africa. They will be used primarily for our breeding program to improve genetic quality and productivity. In the long term, these goats will also serve as a high-quality source of meat for slaughter due to their superior meat yield.

Hybrid Goats (Boer Crossbreeds)

These goats are crossbred between Boer goats and local breeds through selective inbreeding. They are robust and adaptable animals, suitable for meat production (slaughter) and also available for sale to livestock enthusiasts and animal lovers. These hybrids offer a balance of hardiness and improved meat characteristics.

To support our zero-waste model, Lumuzo transforms animal by-products such as skins and bones into valuable commercial outputs. Goat skins are supplied in bulk to local tanneries and processors, while bones are sold to manufacturers for use in organic fertilizer and animal feed supplements. By leveraging government incentives in the livestock leather sector, this service maximizes value per animal and strengthens Lumuzo’s reputation for sustainable agribusiness.

Lumuzo offers curated agritourism experiences to showcase its modern goat farming operation. These guided tours are designed for school groups, tourists, investors, and agro entrepreneurs interested in rural innovation. Visitors can explore breeding and feeding stations, observe tech-enabled herd monitoring, learn about crossbreeding practices, and optionally witness regulated slaughter and packaging operations. With scheduled visit days and tiered entrance fees, this service not only educates but also contributes to Tanzania’s tourism revenue by offeringauthentic rural experiences.
